Leading international companies have already confirmed their participation

Bilbao Exhibition Centre will host the first edition of weAR, the trade fair specialising in automation and robotics, which will take place from 3 to 5 June 2025 with a special focus on SMEs. Leading companies have already confirmed their participation, both as exhibitors and visitors, making the event a strategic meeting point for the sector.

Confirmed exhibitors include Yaskawa, Camozzi, Smartlog Group, Fagor Automation, SEW Eurodrive, Keller Pressure, Igus, IFM, AT-Engineering, Botbox Ibérica, Modula, Ostirion, Sonepar, Sisteplant, Efort, Modula, Hisparob, RLS, Camp Tecnológico, PAL Robotics and Prosegur, as well as the Tecnalia technology centre. Attending weAR from countries such as Germany, Italy, Portugal, Sweden and Spain, their presence reflects the dynamism of a sector in full expansion, driven by the growing global demand to optimise production processes and improve competitiveness.

The interest generated by the event is also reflected in the successful start to the visitor campaign, which has already registered thousands of user companies and machinery manufacturers. They include major companies such as Acerinox, Aernnova, Agria Hispania, Bimbo, Bridgestone, Campofrio Food Group, Conservas Ortiz, CIE Automotive, Mercedes-Benz, Dana Mexico Corporación, Danobatgroup, FedEx Express, GE Renewable Energy, Gestamp, Vicrila and Volkswagen Navarra.

weAR will offer a highly dynamic format to access advanced technologies, discover solutions adapted to the present and future needs of user companies and will establish strategic connections that will boost their growth. The integration of such smart machines into factories around the world has seen a remarkable increase. Over the past seven years, the adoption of robots in industry has more than doubled, reaching 162 units per 10,000 employees by 2023, according to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) World Robotics 2024 report.

Beyond the exhibition space, weAR will feature a programme of activities designed to provide solutions to the technical challenges of the user sectors. They include Innovation Workshops and Tech Demos, practical workshops and equipment demonstrations, as well as visits to companies and centres of interest in the sector, which will enable attendees to discover the industrial ecosystem first hand.

In this context of knowledge exchange and business opportunities, the Hosted Buyers’ Programme will play a key role in facilitating strategic meetings between exhibitors and potential customers, as suggested by exhibitors and invited by the weAR organisers.
